Features
- A common problem with hydro-excavating nozzles occurs when dirt and debris enter the nozzles from the outlet side. Once dirt and debris get inside the nozzle causes that debris to wear on the inside wall and the nozzle rotor as well. Eventually, this causes the nozzle to fail and require replacement.
- At BAR we have developed a polypropylene cover that extends beyond the outlet of the nozzle to help prevent mud and dirt from getting inside the nozzle. It increases the lifetime of the nozzle and will help reduce operating costs. It’s available with a 1/2 in. inlet and comes in a variety of orifice sizes. Repair kits are also available.
